Ariana Resources (ASX:AA2) said the reverse circulation drilling program at its Dokwe gold project in Zimbabwe confirmed the continuity within and beyond the principal shear zone at the Dokwe North target and potential for near-surface oxide resource growth, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The company encountered intercepts of 4 meters at 16.9 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 69 meters, as well as 10 meters at 7.7 g/t grade of gold from 110 meters, the filing said.

The program consisted of 5,659 meters of drilling across 31 holes, primarily across the Dokwe North and Dokwe Central targets, per the filing.
