Amcor Unit Raises $1.5 Billion Through Senior Notes

Amcor (ASX:AMC) said its subsidiary, Amcor Flexibles North America, issued $750 million of 4.25% senior notes due 2029 and $750 million of 5.125% senior notes due 2036 on March 5, both fully and unconditionally guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by the company and several affiliated entities, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The notes, issued under an indenture with US Bank Trust as trustee, will pay interest semi-annually, per the filing.

The proceeds will be used to repay certain existing debts, fund commercial paper repayment, and support general corporate purposes, the filing added.
