Kadant Raises Quarterly Dividend by 5.9%

Kadant's board has raised the company's quarterly dividend by 5.9%, to 36 cents from 34 cents.

The new payout, equal to $1.44 a year, represents an annual yield of about 0.43% based on Wednesday's closing price of $332.72, up from 0.41%.

The Westford, Mass., supplier of technologies and engineered systems said the increased dividend is payable May 13 to shareholders of record April 15.
