羊城晚报讯 记者董鹏程报道：近日，广州市规划和自然资源局在其官网公布了2025年广州市城市建成区面积统计情况。数据显示，截至2025年10月31日，广州市建成区面积为1431.83平方公里，较2024年新增21.43平方公里。
建成区面积是指城市行政区内实际已成片开发建设、市政公用设施和公共设施已基本具备的区域，是衡量城市发展的一项重要指标，建成区面积的增速侧面反映城市发展的速度，为进一步研究城市地理、城市规划、城市生态等提供基础数据。
记者了解到，近年来，广州城市建成区面积从2020年的1350.95平方公里增加至2025年的1431.83平方公里。这侧面印证了广州城市基础设施的完善、产业空间的拓展以及人口与经济的集聚效应。
