然而，以太坊已实现市值的年度变化转为负值，显示资本净流出。 CryptoQuant 分析称，资本流动而非网络活跃度更能解释当前 ETH 价格走势，这与 2018 年和 2021 年周期中链上活跃度与价格同步上涨的情况形成对比。
费用方面，据 DefiLlama 数据，以太坊过去 30 天交易费用约 1030 万美元，排名第三，落后于 Tron 和 Solana；协议收入仅 122 万美元，排名第五。尽管以太坊承载约 1620 亿美元稳定币供应量（占全球市场 52%），但价值捕获能力未能与网络使用增长同步。
