预期由2024财年净溢利变为2025财年净亏损主要归因于以下因素：(i)并无在2024财年取得集团债务重组下未申报的索偿获解除而取得约1.282亿港元的重大一次性利润。集团债务重组详情披露于公司日期为2021年12月31日的通函内;(ii)复杂多变的贸易环境、消费市场复苏缓慢、包装用纸市场面临整体定价压力及原材料价格波动缩小制成品与原材料之间的价格差，使2025财年集团造纸分部的盈利能力面临压力。
