蒂姆·霍奇森发表声明表示，霍尔木兹海峡关闭导致全球能源市场剧烈波动。为应对这一局面，包括加拿大在内的国际能源署（IEA）32个成员国已同意协调释放石油库存，以帮助稳定全球能源市场和供应。加拿大将释放由加拿大石油行业生产的2360万桶石油，支持这项集体行动。
此外，他还表示，未来几个月，加拿大的天然气出口也将扩大，为世界各地的盟友提供更多燃料，支撑全球市场供应。（总台记者 赵淼）
