欧盟委员会一位发言人周四透露，埃隆·马斯克的社交媒体公司X在被罚款1.2亿欧元后，已同意修改其在欧盟的认证机制。
去年12月，欧盟科技监管机构因X公司违反在线内容规则对其处以罚款。这是自欧盟具有里程碑意义的《数字服务法案》出台以来的首例罚款，该立法曾引发美国政府的批评。
欧盟委员会发言人托马斯·雷尼尔（Thomas Regnier）表示，X公司已就其蓝V认证功能提交了补救措施。
欧盟对 X 的制裁是在根据欧盟《数字服务法案》进行了长达两年的调查之后做出的，该法案要求在线平台采取更多措施来打击非法和有害内容。
2024年7月，欧盟委员会指控X公司欺骗用户，称其蓝色认证标志不符合行业惯例，任何人都可以付费获得“认证”状态。
