根据美国能源信息署(EIA)的数据，2025年美国原油出口量达39亿桶。
其中，荷兰为美国原油的最大买家，进口量较上年增长约3100万桶至4.19亿桶，占据约10.7%的份额。自2022年俄乌冲突爆发以来，美国原油在欧洲替代俄罗斯能源方面发挥着越来越重要的作用。其中很大一部分经由鹿特丹港运输，该港口每天的原油运输约为110万桶。
墨西哥、加拿大紧随其后，进口量分别为3.98亿桶和3.24亿桶，分别占比10.2%和8.3%。尽管加拿大拥有丰富的石油储量，但其炼油能力和东西向输油管道基础设施不足，因此严重依赖从美国进口原油。
韩国和日本亦位列前五大买家，进口量分别为2.57亿桶和2.47亿桶。此外，中国进口量减少8100万桶至2.38亿桶，排名从第三位跌至第六位。
