据法新社3月12日报道，亲欧洲的波兰政府12日宣布，总统纳夫罗茨基否决波兰政府加入欧盟安全计划是“背叛行为”。这一计划原本能以借款形式给波兰带来数百亿欧元以加强防务。
报道称，作为俄罗斯、白俄罗斯的邻国，波兰近些年在军队和国防工业现代化方面进行大规模投资。2026年，波兰军费开支已经超过了本国国内生产总值（GDP）的4.8%，这是北约国家里国防开支占比最高的国家之一。
为了加速实行军事现代化，图斯克政府指望的是总额高达1500亿欧元的欧洲安全计划，其中波兰可以独享440亿欧元。欧洲议会已经通过了这一计划，但是波兰总统纳夫罗茨基12日晚予以否决。
纳夫罗茨基在电视讲话中说：“我决定了，不让波兰签署欧洲安全计划。我永远不会签署一部会损害我们主权、独立以及经济和军事安全的法案。”
这位持民族主义立场的波兰总统认为，欧洲安全计划就是一个特洛伊木马，会得以让欧盟对波兰施压，尤其是在分发资金方面。他认为，欧洲安全计划也有可能让波兰“数代人”背上债务。
