CareTrust REIT's board has raised the real-estate investment trust's quarterly dividend by 16%, to 39 cents from 33.5 cents.
The new payout, equal to $1.56 a year, represents an annual yield of about 3.89% based on Thursday's closing price of $40.09, up from 3.34%.
The Dana Point, Calif., company on Friday said the increased dividend is payable April 15 to shareholders of record March 31.
