Vivendi's Gameloft Fared Poorly in 2H, Baader Helvea Says -- Market Talk

1300 GMT - Vivendi's Gameloft business fared worse than expected in terms of profitability in the second half of last year, Baader Helvea's Alexandre Desprez writes. The maker of "Asphalt Legends" and "Carmen Sandiego" reported adjusted earnings before interest and income taxes of 7 million euros, he says, down from 20 million euros and below consensus of 8.8 million euros. Still, Gameloft's performance was good in the fourth quarter, he says. Revenue grew 2.1% organically to 93 million euros. Vivendi shares trade 2.2% lower at 1.93 euros. (mauro.orru@wsj.com)
