1108 GMT - Dutch investment group Prosus will benefit, not lose, from AI expansion, Bank of America analysts write. The Amsterdam-listed group--which invests in software and consumer-facing internet companies--is an "artificial-intelligence powerhouse in the making," given the strong AI development across its portfolio, the analysts say. A suite of autonomous AI products announced by Chinese tech group Tencent, means Prosus is well positioned as markets increasingly favor advances in AI-powered products, the analysts write. Tencent is by far Prosus's largest position, making up 75.9% of the group's investment portfolio. Prosus shares rise 2.3%, after climbing 8.7% in the five days to Thursday's close.
