消息面上，供应链可视化公司project44的数据显示，自2月下旬美国、以色列和伊朗之间的敌对行动升级导致该海峡实际关闭以来，集装箱货运改道量激增了360%以上。业内人士表示，在战火影响下，原本经由红海至埃及的载货量，部分会转移至地中海航线绕道进入埃及，上周地中海线现货市场每FEU运价上涨约300美元达到约3300美元。
此外，3月13日，SCFI欧线指数为1618美元/TEU，较上期上涨11.4%。申万宏源发布研报称，由于波斯湾局势升级，导致全球船舶燃料油价格大涨，部分航司开始加征燃油附加费。目前全球船舶燃料油供应紧张，潜在的加油困难和中断，可能导致堵港和船期混乱从而推动运价上涨。
