BUZZ-Crypto stocks gain as bitcoin hits 5-week high

** Bitcoin BTC=, the world's biggest cryptocurrency, up 1.9% at $73,068 after briefly hitting over 5-week high of $74,342

** Ether ETH= jumps 5.3% to $2,240.96

** Crypto exchange Coinbase Global COIN.O rises 2.4% premarket; U.S.-listed shares of Blockchain farm operator Bitfarms Ltd Bitfarms BITF.O up 2.7%

** Miners Riot Platforms RIOT.O, MARA Holdings MARA.O, Hut 8 HUT.O, Bit Digital BTBT.O gain 2.4%-3.4%

** BTC buyer Strategy MSTR.O adds 2.6%; Robinhood Markets HOOD.O up 2%

** ProShares Bitcoin Strategy ETF BITO.P, iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF IBIT.O add 2.6% each

** BTC has shed over 16% YTD, while Ether has lost over 24%
