Horizon Minerals (ASX:HRZ) said the ore purchase agreement with the Paddington gold mine was mutually terminated as of Feb. 11, and the gold ore stockpiles of 460,000 tonnes, equivalent to 14,200 ounces of gold, remain in situ at the Boorara gold project in Western Australia, which will be utilized as a primary source of ore for the commissioning of the Black Swan processing hub in mid-2027, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The current phase of mining was completed at the Boorara project in December 2025, and the pre-production planning and operational readiness activities have begun at Boorara to facilitate a restart of the next phase of production activity early in 2027.
