Qantas Airways Reaches AU$105 Million Settlement for Flight Credit Lawsuit

Qantas Airways (ASX:QAN) will pay AU$105 million to settle a lawsuit concerning flight credits issued during the pandemic, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The class action, filed in August 2023, relates to cancelled flights between January 2020 and November 2022, in which the airline allegedly breached its obligation regarding refunds.
The payment is expected in the first half of fiscal 2027, as per the filing.
