智通财经APP获悉，据知情人士透露，标普道琼斯指数公司周四表示，正考虑修改关于公司如何纳入标普500指数的规则，此举可能为SpaceX在其计划中的首次公开发行后快速进入该指数铺平道路。
知情人士称，这家指数提供商正与利益相关方讨论潜在修改方案以评估市场需求，但目前尚未做出决定，任何调整都需要经过正式咨询程序。
若规则修改得以通过，可能导致追踪该基准的基金进行数十亿美元的被动买入。目前，约有24万亿美元的资金与标普500指数挂钩。
根据现行标准，公司需满足包括最低227亿美元市值以及至少12个月的公开交易记录等条件，才有资格被考虑纳入该指数。
