Oracle (ORCL) and other investors taking control of TikTok's US business from Chinese parent ByteDance will pay the Trump administration a roughly $10 billion fee for brokering the deal, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The investors paid the Treasury Department about $2.5 billion when the deal closed in January and are set to make several additional payments totaling about $10 billion, the people reportedly said.
Oracle did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment on the matter.
