Token's Nine-Month Profit Rises 4.5%

Token's (TYO:1766) profit attributable to owners of the parent rose 4.5% to nearly 12 billion yen in the nine months ended Jan. 31 from 11.5 billion yen a year earlier.

The construction company's basic earnings per share increased to 890.28 yen from 851.75 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Friday.

Net sales rose 4.3% to 282.8 billion yen from 271.2 billion yen in the prior-year period.

For the fiscal year ending April 30, the company expects attributable profit of 14.7 billion yen, basic EPS of 1,090.80 yen, and net sales of 386.9 billion yen.

Token plans to pay a year-end dividend of 360 yen per share for the current year, which is higher than the 330 yen per share paid in the previous year.
