ChainCatcher 消息，据市场消息，成立于 1987 年的世界黄金协会正与波士顿咨询集团合作，提出 “黄金即服务” 框架，旨在为代币化黄金建立标准，挑战 Tether Gold 和 PAX Gold 等加密原生发行商。
该服务将提供一个共享网络，使发行代币化黄金的公司能够接入统一平台管理实物储备，通过持续审计增强信任，并建立产品之间的可互换性。目前 Paxos 和 Tether 主导的代币化黄金市场总市值约 49 亿美元，它们各自建立了独立的托管和发行体系。
世界黄金协会曾于 2004 年推出美国首只实物黄金 ETF SPDR Gold Shares，目前市值达 1260 亿美元。该协会表示，新服务可降低发行商进入门槛，有望催生数百种代币化黄金产品。
