消息面上，当地时间周三，在以色列袭击世界最大气田——伊朗南帕尔斯(South Pars)气田后，伊朗警告波斯湾周边多国，大量能源资产已成为“合法打击目标”，此言一出，全球油气市场再度受到冲击。中银国际指出，作为纯上游勘探与生产公司，中海油直接受惠于近期油价上涨。虽然油价进一步上升的边际效益被中国的暴利税所稀释，但由于其海外产量占比较高，对公司的负面影响相对较小。
小摩此前发布研报称，如果油价长期升至每桶80美元，将为主要石油公司带来显著上行空间。在该行覆盖的亚洲能源企业之中，中海油因其70%的石油产量结构，因此对油价走势最为敏感。小摩上调中海油2026及27年的每股盈测41%及19%，以反映较高的油价预测。
