ChainCatcher 消息，据 CoinDesk 报道，Galaxy Digital 研究主管 Alex Thorn 表示，量子计算对比特币的威胁真实存在，但目前尚不构成迫在眉睫的危机，投资者不应将这一长期技术挑战误判为立即规避比特币的理由。
Thorn 指出，当前风险仅限于链上已暴露公钥的特定地址，包括复用地址、部分托管机构持有的地址及旧版地址格式中的资产。安全机构 Project Eleven 的分析显示，约 700 万枚 BTC（按近期价格约合 4700 亿美元）处于此类“长期暴露”状态，但在现有量子计算能力下仍属安全。
在应对措施方面，开发者已推进多项方案，包括引入基于后量子密码学的新地址类型、限制永久暴露公钥地址支出权限的“沙漏”机制，以及从根本上减少交易广播公钥的分阶段升级路径。
