Exxon Mobil (XOM) and Saudi Aramco's SAMREF joint venture in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, was hit by an aerial strike Thursday, Reuters reported, citing an industry source.

The strike had minimal impact on the refinery, according to the report.

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had already sent an evacuation warning to SAMREF, along with other oil facilities in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, the news agency reported.

Exxon Mobil and Aramco didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
