Contemporary Amperex Technology (SHE:300750, HKG:3750), or CATL, led the charge with a 39.2% market share. This was followed by electric vehicle giant BYD (HKG:1211, SHE:002594), the report said.
Six Chinese firms claimed spots in the top 10 global automotive battery manufacturers by installed capacity, including Gotion High Tech (SHE:002074), according to the report.
