CuFe (ASX:CUF) said its Tennant Creek Project's Orlando Copper-Gold Deposit's indicated category has increased to 87% from 56% of the total Orlando Resource after a mineral resource estimate update, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The company said a scoping study update reflecting the new resource is expected to be finalized for release in April, incorporating Orlando underground tonnage for the first time as well as revenue from critical minerals bismuth and silver, which were not included in the original scoping study.

A resource update for the Gecko deposit, targeting migration of additional tonnes to the indicated category, is underway with results expected during the June quarter, the filing added.

The company's shares rose past 2% in recent Wednesday trade.
