凤凰网科技讯 北京时间3月18日，据彭博社报道，苹果公司负责智能家居设备的最高硬件工程主管离职，跳槽至智能戒指制造商Oura Health Oy，这对一个本就面临产品延期问题的部门来说是一次打击。
Oura CEO汤姆·黑尔(Tom Hale)周二对彭博社表示，自2022年以来一直担任苹果智能家居设备高级总监的布莱恩·林奇(Brian Lynch)已加入该公司，担任硬件工程高级副总裁。
过去几年，苹果一直在准备大举进军智能家居技术领域，计划推出一款配备AI和面部识别功能的高端显示屏。据彭博社报道，苹果还在研发一款配有9英寸显示屏的桌面机器人设备，以及一款先进的家庭安防与自动化传感器。
林奇一直负责这些新设备的硬件开发。苹果原本计划在去年发布这款智能显示屏，但受困于Siri的艰难重构，该产品已多次延期。Siri语音助手要为设备提供个性化数据，它的更新至关重要。
