据韩联社报道，由于霍尔木兹海峡长期封锁造成能源供应危机，韩国政府和炼油企业正在考虑进口俄罗斯原油和石脑油。在美国暂时放松对俄罗斯能源的制裁之后，韩国工业部正在考虑采取这一举措。韩国最后一次进口俄罗斯石油是在2022年4月；此后，韩国停止进口俄罗斯石油，并加入到对俄罗斯的制裁行列。韩国进口石油约有70%要经过霍尔木兹海峡。
