智通财经APP获悉，美国航空公司(AAL.US)更新了第一季度的业绩指引，以反映出比预期更强劲的需求和更高的燃油价格。“由于公司商业举措的有效执行和强劲的市场需求，市场需求超出预期，”美国航空目前预计第一季度营收将增长超过10%，这将是该公司历史上最高的季度营收同比增长率。此前，该公司预计总营收将同比增长7%至10%。
修订后的业绩指引已在提交给美国证券交易委员会的文件中公布，该公司将于周二在华盛顿举行的摩根大通工业会议上进行演讲。
不计燃油成本的每可用座位英里成本(CASM-ex)预计将上涨4%至5%，而此前的预期涨幅为3%至5%。
为反映燃油价格的“显著”上涨，该公司预计损失将达约 4 亿美元，目前预计调整后的每股亏损将处于此前每股亏损 0.10 美元至 0.50 美元预期范围的下限。
消息公布后，截至发稿，美国航空股价在周二盘初交易中上涨超过4%。
