ChainCatcher 消息，据港媒信报报道，花旗在分析报告中指出，借鉴内地支付机构的经验作参考，内地支付机构中的用户余额相当于中国流通现金约 20%、活期和储蓄存款约 2.5%、全部存款约 0.8%。预计香港稳定币市场规模可达 160 亿美元（折合约 1248 亿港元），上下浮动 80 亿美元，假如货币总量持续增长，加上境外用户对香港稳定币的需求增加，又或链上活动激增，此规模将有进一步上升空间，发行商、交易平台及支付公司等均将受惠。
此前消息，香港金管局或将于本月公布首批稳定币发行牌照。
