　　美联储主席杰罗姆·鲍威尔表示，如果其被提名的继任者凯文·沃什在5月他的任期结束前未获确认，他将依法继续担任央行行长。

　　另外，鲍威尔表示，在司法部对他的调查“彻底、真正地结束，并具有透明度和最终性”之前，他不会辞去美联储理事会成员的职位，该职位的任期技术上将持续到2028年初。
