SK Telecom's (KRX:017670) Signalling Requirements and Architecture for AI Data Centers (AIDC) was approved as an international standard by the ITU-T Study Group 11, the telecommunications firm said in a Wednesday release.
The Interconnection Structure and Methods for AI Data Centers standard, proposed by SK Telecom in May 2024, establishes a global framework for interconnecting AIDC systems, the release said.
Shares of SK Telecom added nearly 2% at market close.
