Orix (IX) said Tuesday it acquired all outstanding shares of packaging materials wholesale and recycling firm Nozoe Industry.
Financial details of the deal weren't provided.
Orix said it intends to combine its nationwide sales network with Nozoe's collection network and recycling capability.
Orix added it plans to broaden the variety of flexible plastics processed by Nozoe while evaluating potential expansion into materials used in automotive and home appliance manufacturing.
