0231 GMT - Link REIT's shift in focus appears positive, UOB Kay Hian analysts say in a research report. Management unveiled a transition to refocus on traditional core businesses--retail and car parks in Asia, while advancing asset recycling of non-core assets, the analysts note. These assets could include offices, logistics and retail properties outside Asia. Also, the REIT will probably withdraw from bidding for Australian retail portfolio disclosed in November and is exploring disposal of office on 100 Market Street, Sydney. The brokerage increases its DPU forecasts for the REIT by 0.4% for FY 2026 and by 1% each for FY 2027 and FY 2028. It raises the unit's target price to HK$42.60 from HK$40.00 with an unchanged buy rating. Units are 0.9% lower at HK$36.94. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
