Recce Pharmaceuticals Secures Brazilian Family 4 Patent For Anti-Infectives

Recce Pharmaceuticals (ASX:RCE) said the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property formally granted the firm a Family 4 patent for its anti-infectives, expiring in 2041, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The patent relates to the process for preparation of the anti-infectives, as well as the use of its R327 and R529 therapy candidates, particularly in the treatment of bacterial infections and viral infections.
It also relates to the administration of the anti-infectives by oral, inhalation, transdermal delivery, or by injection. They can also be delivered as an aerosol, gel, topical foam, or ointment.
Its shares climbed 2% in recent trading on Tuesday.
