Terramin Australia Says Site Preparation Activities Begin at Algeria Zinc Project, Shares Jump 6%

Terramin Australia (ASX:TZN) said site preparation activities began at the Tala Hamza zinc project in Algeria, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The land for the project was acquired by Algerian government agencies for its exclusive use, with the cost of the land acquisition estimated to be around $30 million. The relocation of residents within the project area has been completed, enabling unrestricted access to the site.
Terramin holds a 49% stake in the project through its shareholding in Bejaia Zinc & Lead and retains management rights.
Its shares rose 6% in recent trading on Tuesday.
