Shares of Corning were up more than 7% Tuesday, making it the top mover in the S&P 500.

The glass maker has had a strong start to 2026, rising 60% year-to-date. Its glass is used in laptop computers, monitors, and a variety of industrial applications.

Meanwhile the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average were both falling as concerns of a quick end the to Iran war dimmed.
