Medibank Private Shares Up 3% After Losing Appeal Over Deloitte Reports on 2022 Cybercrime Event

Medibank Private (ASX:MPL) shares were up almost 3% in recent Monday trade after the company said on Friday that the Full Federal Court has refused its application for leave to appeal a March 2025 decision that found three reports prepared by Deloitte concerning the 2022 cybercrime event were not subject to legal professional privilege.
The court has ordered the company to produce the reports to the applicants in the consumer class action under an agreed confidentiality regime, the Friday Australian bourse filing added.
