Samsung Heavy Industries Bags Two LNG Carrier Orders from Oceania Client; Shares Decline 6%

Samsung Heavy Industries (KRX:010140) won an order for two liquefied natural gas carriers from an Oceania-based shipper, according to a Monday filing with the Korean Exchange.

The deal is valued at 770.1 billion won. The shipbuilder will deliver the vessels by Sept. 30, 2028.

Shares of Samsung Heavy Industries fell more than 6% in recent trade.
