近日，省道505线龙圩新地至藤县潭东段公路改建工程路面主体工程顺利完工，一条平整宽阔的沥青公路已初具形态。
施工后的路面 向霖 摄据了解，该项目起点位于龙圩区新地镇榃丹村北侧，与国道207线形成T型平面交叉，终点位于藤县藤州镇潭东村龙塘山片区西侧，与国道321线形成T型平面交叉。路线全长27.016公里，串联起龙圩区新地镇、藤县藤州镇多个村镇，是沿线群众出行和物资运输的重要通道。项目按照双向两车道二级公路标准建设，设计时速60公里，差异化设置12米、13.5米、17米三种路基宽度，全线采用沥青混凝土路面。
作为连接龙圩区与藤县的重要交通纽带，该项目承载着广大群众对便捷出行的殷切期盼。项目建成后，将进一步完善我市综合交通网络，有效缓解龙圩区新地镇交通拥堵状况，解决原有道路颠簸不平的问题，全面提升路网通行效率和服务水平，助力交通强市战略实施，为推动区域经济社会高质量发展提供坚实交通保障。
目前，桂东公路发展中心正抢抓施工工期、严把工程质量，全力推进项目沿线配套设施建设，力争早日完成配套设施升级，实现公路全线提质达标。
