新浪财经讯 3月21日下午消息，东方甄选首届供应商交流峰会上，新东方创始人、东方甄选CEO俞敏洪在谈及长期主义时直言，“所谓的长期主义，不要从表面上的那一件事情去看。坚持做到底，撞了南墙还不回头，那不是长期主义。长期主义是坚守内心的价值观，并且把你的才能和热爱，复用在你能做的服务上面。”

　　他表示，自己最初的价值观就是希望不断为人们提供有价值的服务。“从1985年从北大毕业以后留校当老师，一直到1991年辞职出来做新东方，从来没有离开过教育领域。2021年以后，老天给了我一个机会思考，除了教育，我还能做些什么。”

　　俞敏洪表示，当时就给东方甄选定了一个规矩：“东方甄选做的不是一个直播公司，更不是一个MCN公司，我们不是集中一帮新东方的优秀老师来帮着卖东西，而是我们最终要为中国人民提供好的产品、好的服务。所以从一开始，我就把东方甄选定位成一家产品公司，不管是对内链还是对外链，都是以产品为核心来构建自己的商业模型。”
