Financial stocks were rising premarket Monday, with the State Street Financial Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLF) advancing by 2.3%.
The Direxion Daily Financial Bull 3X Shares (FAS) was 7% higher and its bearish counterpart Direxion Daily Financial Bear 3X Shares (FAZ) was down 7.2%.
Apollo Global Management (APO) has agreed to acquire a 37% minority stake in medical equipment manufacturer Syntegon from CVC Capital Partners for an undisclosed sum, CVC said. Shares of Apollo Global Management were up more than 2% pre-bell.
