Emera (EMA) said Monday that it has completed the offering of $750 million of its fixed-to-fixed reset rate junior subordinated notes.
The offering includes $375 million of 6.650% Series A notes due 2056 and $375 million of 6.850% Series B notes due 2056, according to a statement.
Net proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including debt repayment, the company said.
