路透台北3月22日 - 台湾国防部周六晚间表示，军政副部长徐斯俭于美东时间周一率团，赴美国南卡罗莱纳州F-16 BLK70战机生产线，见证由洛克希德马丁公司LMT.N完成验收飞行测试的首架机。
国防部并称，于该生产线完成组装及洛马公司“验收飞行测试”的战机，将由美政府进行最后验收飞行，今年可启动飞交返台作业。
洛马公司表示，由于F-16 BLK70战机系专为台湾设计的新机型，仍需透过不断试飞进行调校，然后立即回馈产线调整。
国防部也说明，将持续透过台美安全合作机制，与美方协同推动相关作业，加速完成战机飞交返台作业。
美国于2019年批准向台湾出售价值80亿美元洛克希德-马丁的F-16战机，该交易将使台湾的F-16机队达到200多架，为亚洲之最，加强台湾对中国日益加剧的威胁之下的防御能力。（完）
