OpenAI首席财务官萨拉·弗莱尔（Sarah Friar）在一次采访中透露，作为其历史性融资轮的一部分，OpenAI正在从投资者那里筹集额外的100亿美元资金。

　　弗莱尔表示，这笔新资金使OpenAI的这轮融资总额达到“超过1200亿美元”，远远超过上月宣布的1100亿美元。OpenAI于2月底宣布了首轮融资，这笔融资被视为其在进行可能进行的首次公开募股（IPO）之前的最后一轮私募融资。

　　据弗莱尔透露，Andreessen Horowitz、D.E． Shaw Ventures、MGX、TPG 和T． Rowe Price参与了此次 100 亿美元的新融资。值得注意的是，微软作为 OpenAI 的长期投资者和主要计算服务提供商之一，也参与了本轮融资。尽管微软与 OpenAI 的关系发生了变化，弗莱尔仍称赞微软是“一个了不起的合作伙伴”，并赞扬其首席执行官萨蒂亚·纳德拉“很早就参与其中”。

　　“我真正感到欣慰的是，我们在整个生态系统中都筹集到了资金，”弗莱尔说。她指出风险投资公司、私募股权基金、共同基金和主权实体都参与其中。“无论你去哪里，人们都真心相信这场人工智能革命，并且愿意为此投入资金，”她补充道。
