Tokyo Electric Power Receives 12.1 Billion Yen Grant From NDF

Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings (TYO:9501) received 12.1 billion yen in grants from the Nuclear Damage Compensation and Decommissioning Facilitation Corporation under its compensation plan, according to a Wednesday filing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The utility has received a total of 11,483.2 billion yen in grants from the NDF and 188.9 billion yen in indemnity payments to date.
The latest funding covers March, after the company requested 17.1 billion yen as compensation payments are set to exceed prior support by the end of April.
