Gap (GAP) intends to open 50 new stores in China this year, Bloomberg News reported Thursday, citing Vincent Qiu, chief executive of Baozun (BZUN), which operates the American brand in the Asian country.
The US clothing retailer will open the new stores across tier-one to tier-three cities in China and also intends to reopen stores in Hong Kong later in 2026, Qiu told Bloomberg.
Gap and Baozun didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
