Lockheed Martin (LMT) has been awarded a $478.4 million Navy contract to provide engineering, technical support, and production services for the Integrated Submarine Imaging System for both new and active submarines, the Department of War said Tuesday.

The indefinite-delivery and indefinite-quantity contract includes options that, if exercised, could bring the total value to $1.19 billion, according to a statement.

Work under the contract will take place in Virginia and is expected to be completed by March 2036.
