- Meta META.O has been ordered to pay $375 million in civil penalties after a jury in New Mexico found that it knowingly harmed children's mental health.

- British finance minister Rachel Reeves said contingency planning was taking place for an expected rise in energy bills but the focus was on longer-term measures to bring down bills for all, and targeted support for the poorest households.

- Octopus Investments, which employs just over 600 staff, is to put 130 roles at risk of redundancy in an effort to streamline its operations.

- Lidl to sell plug-in solar panels under Miliband net zero drive. The devices will cost as little as 400 pounds ($536.24)upfront and could cut a typical household's power bill by 70-110 pounds a year, the Government said.
