伊朗战争爆发后的两周内，土耳其央行出售并置换了约60吨黄金（价值超过80亿美元），加剧了金价的下行压力。

　　根据央行发布的最新数据，土耳其黄金储备在3月13日当周减少了6吨，在3月20日当周又减少52.4吨，显示出储备急剧缩减。据知情人士透露，其中一部分为直接抛售，而大部分则是通过互换协议来获取外汇或里拉。

　　土耳其央行拒绝置评。

　　此举正值土耳其的去通胀战略面临压力之际。该行的战略高度依赖于维持里拉汇率稳定或平稳贬值，手段包括通过国有银行进行硬通货干预。自冲突开始以来，不断上升的能源进口成本和日益增加的美元需求使得维持这一策略变得更加困难。

　　伊斯坦布尔Phoenix Consultancy创始人伊里斯·希布雷表示，官员们动用央行1350亿美元储备中的黄金进行销售和掉期安排，以满足流动性需求并稳定国内需求。她估计总销售额为58.4吨，其中一半以上是通过海外的“黄金换外汇”合约进行的。

　　央行在出售现货黄金的同时通过互换协议约定在未来回购的情况并不少见，本质上是以贵金属作为抵押品来获得廉价的美元融资。
